A quick test of your MBA dissertation proposal prototype: the criteria

The criteria

1. Is the research theme align with the MBA program design spirit?
2. Does the dissertation proposal indicates some academic, practical and originality value?
3. Do you understand the academic jargons and theories, research objectives, research questions and the research methods mentioned in the proposal?
4. Are the dissertation topic and research objectives it basically what you are interested in investigating?
5. Have you done the dissertation topic exploration by discussing with generative AI?
6. Do you feel certain that the research methods you plan to use are feasible?
7. Have you done 4-5 iterations of proposal refinement with discussion with generative AI?
8. Have you done some inner dialogue with yourself on the research theme to refine your proposal prototype?
9. Have you done some preliminary literature review on a few academic theories relevant to your proposal and done some preliminary study on the relevant research methods topics via study materials such as reference books and Youtube videos?
10. Are you using academic theories that are adequately sophisticated and not those that business students pick up in their business course study for beginners (or using substantially simplified versions of well-known academic theories)?
11. Does your proposal prototype include 3-4 research objectives and 3-4 research questions?
12. Have you already got 3-4 research issues and 3-4 public-media reported issues in mind for formulating your research proposal prototype?
13. Have you explained to one or two of your friends about your proposal prototype and your friends know what you are talking about?
14. Are you committed to spending additional study effort to go through further refinement of your  proposal prototype so as to produce a refined proposal in your own voice and in your own words?
15. Are you able to provide justification of your proposal ideas to your supervisor?
16. Do you feel that you are intellectually resilient and confident enough to respond to comments from your supervisor and, if acceptable to you, incorporate your supervisor's comments into your dissertation proposal to produce another refined proposal version?
17. Finally, do you feel that all the ideas of your proposal prototype fit together well to make up a coherent proposal with adequate space of imagination for you to work on?
