Students new to the subjects of Independent study and Research Methods are encouraged to use Youtube to access briefing videos on certain main ideas; my suggested key words for beginners are as follows (just type these key words on youtube and see what you could find from there) :

2. research questions
3. hypothesis
4. literature review
5. plagiarism
6. harvard referencing
7. research proposal
8. research topic

Subsequently, students will also read textbooks on research methods and some academic articles to learn the academic writing style and the subjects in details.
